AMAF 2023 ( ASEAN Ministers’ Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry )

Malaysia played host to the important AMAF 2023 (ASEAN Ministers’ Meeting on Agriculture and Forestry). At the gala dinner, Aafiya was invited to emcee and explain to the delegates what AMAF means and how it will progress. The crowd cheered for her as she confidently presented her script on stage. YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu, the minister, even joked that Aafiya did his keynote, much to the delight of the audience.

Aafiya, a Green Speaker Warrior Level 3 student, has been given a wonderful opportunity to be a little emcee at the 45th AMAF meeting organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. This is a significant event, and being selected as an emcee alongside Daphne Iking and Hazli Izma is indeed an honor. It’s a commendable moment for Aafiya.

Under the guidance of Teacher Kasturi from Johan Speaking Academy, Ara Damansara Branch, Aafiya has developed a strong foundation in public speaking. This aligns with Johan Speaking Academy’s core value. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security for this opportunity, and special thanks to Daphne Iking for guiding Aafiya step by step.
